The health and safety of our customers and staff are of the utmost importance to us and as such we will continue to take a highly precautionary approach to your catering needs based on the latest advice given by the Victorian Government Department of Health and Human Services to not only ensure everyones safety but also to uphold our quality standards and service.

In these current times of uncertainty, we would like to clarify our cancellation policies.
In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your order/booking, please note we will require at least 7 days notice prior to your event for grazing tables and at least 48 hours notice prior to the delivery for platter boxes, otherwise the entire amount paid shall be forfeited and the outstanding balance will still need to be paid. This is because preparation for your event/booking has already begun.
If you have to cancel your event due to Government related restrictions/lockdown, then please note a full refund will be provided on the provision cancellation notice is given no less than 72 hours prior to your event. If you wish to reschedule your event, please note we will hold onto your deposit and full payment will be required at least 48 hours prior to your rescheduled date.
Yes, we do! We have created individual grazing boats, grazing cones and grazing plates for those looking for a more COVID safe option for their event. Please contact us to discuss options.
- All staff will comply with food safety compliance, 20 secs hand washing and sanitising
- Staff are temperature checked every day
- We have a company QR code for checking in
- Anyone with flu like systems is excluded from the workplace until a COVID 19 test returns a negative result
- Only essential staff are permitted to enter the kitchen, no visitors and no sales people.
- Contactless delivery to each location when possible
- We follow the COVID policies for every venue we go to
- Peninsula Bay Platter staff are required to wear face masks
COVID-19 ACTION PLAN
In line with the latest advice on the prevention of the spread of COVID-19, we have introduced a COVID-19 Hygiene and Sanitation Action Plan.
Our action plan is reviewed on a weekly basis so we may update it as necessary and in accordance with Government guidelines. Below are some of the key components:
- We require all staff and customers to check in via the Victorian Government QR Code when arriving at Peninsula Bay Platters.
- All Peninsula Bay Platters staff on site have provided evidence of their vaccination status.
- Escalated cleaning protocols implemented across all sites including regularly sanitising all high touch areas.
- Provision of hand-sanitiser at key central points for team members.
- Masks and social distancing rules are followed as per DHHS guidelines.
- Anyone with flu like systems is excluded from the workplace until a COVID 19 test returns a negative result.
