By placing your order, you are deemed to have understood, consented and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions:
1.1 To make an order, please visit our website www.peninsulabayplatters.com.au or email Info@peninsulabayplatters.com.au and allow us time to reply with a confirmation. Please note we are a small business and orders are subject to availability.
1.2 Our products are made to order. To secure your order, we require confirmation of payment in full 24 hours prior to delivery for grazing boxes. For grazing tables and platter boards, we require a 20% deposit with full payment due seven (7) before delivery/event date. We do not hold dates as we work on a first-come, first-served policy. We request at least seven (7) days notice prior to your event.
2. Short Notice Requests
2.1 Peninsula Bay Platters will make every effort to assist you with Short Notice Requests. We appreciate that you may not always be notified in advance of forthcoming functions, which is why we will always do our best to help.
2.2 For urgent orders, please contact us on 0497837106. Orders received and accepted 48hrs before your event date must be paid in full at the confirmation of the order for platters and grazing tables an invoice will be supplied.
2.3 Urgent orders required on the same day as (less Than 24hrs) as your event must be paid for in full at confirmation of order. ALL URGENT ORDERS INCUR A 20% SURCHARGE
3.1 Delivery is by arrangement and delivery charges apply. During festive seasons, a delivery surcharge may apply. It is important that when delivery is confirmed, someone is present to receive the items at the specified time period as, without explicit consent, we are unable to leave your order with someone else or unattended since our food may perish if left on the doorstep.
3.2 If for any reason you are not present at the time of delivery or where you have provided an incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete delivery address, we will endeavour to re-deliver, however this will be subject to a re-delivery fee. In line with COVID-19 restrictions, all our deliveries will be contactless.
4.1 In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your order or booking, cancellation is required at least seven (7) days prior to your event for grazing tables/platter boards and forty-eight (48) hours prior to the delivery for grazing box, otherwise the entire amount paid shall be forfeited and whatever balance shall still be paid.
4.2 All cancellations and postponements must be notified in writing via email at email@example.com We will acknowledge the cancellation/postponement via email.
5. Food and Produce
5.1 Please be aware all platters, boxes and grazing tables are subject to availability and what is in season. Peninsula Bay Platters reserves the right to substitute products and items when products or ingredients may not be available. All substitutes are of similar quality and value.
5.2 It is your responsibility to inform us well in advance of any dietary requirements. While we make every effort to accommodate such requirements, this may not always be possible. Pricing may also vary. It is also your responsibility to inform us of any food allergies or intolerances well in advance. Our platters are not prepared in an allergen-free environment.
6. Consumption / Non-Liability For Risk
6.1 All products must be consumed within 1 hour of delivery if left unrefrigerated or within 3 hours after the grazing table has been set up or from the delivery of platter box/board if refrigerated, pursuant to existing government rules and regulations. After this time, Peninsula Bay Platters will not be accountable for the freshness of the food. Peninsula Bay Platters is not responsible for the removal and disposal of food waste post-event.
6.2 Consumption of said products beyond the said period shall be at your own risk.
6.3 Peninsula Bay Platters shall not be liable for any resulting damage, injury or sickness whatsoever, whether remote or proximate, for failure to consume the same within said period or for the customer’s failure to take health, safety and hygienic measures in the consumption and handling thereof.
7. Website and Social Media
7.1 These Terms and Conditions govern your right to use the Peninsula Bay Platters website, the Peninsula Bay Platters Social Media pages, and your access to and use of any products or services acquired in relation to Peninsula Bay Platters and/or any links provided on the Website to other websites.
7.2 In downloading any content from the Website and the Peninsula Bay Platters Social Media pages to your computer, you do not receive any ownership rights to such content and by downloading any content you agree not to use the content for any unlawful purpose and you agree that your use of the Website and the Peninsula Bay Platters Social Media pages is only for your personal use and not for any commercial or other use contrary to these Terms and Conditions and our legal rights in respect of the Website and the Peninsula Bay Platters Social Media pages.
7.3 You agree that in downloading any service or product from the Website and the Peninsula Bay Platters Social Media pages, you will not rent, lease or lend it to a third party nor decompile, reverse engineer, modify or derive content from the Website and/or make it available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.
8. Your Agreement
8.1 We may offer promotional offers, member competitions and special discounts from time to time which will be subject to separate terms and conditions to be read in conjunction with these Terms and Conditions.
9.1 All prices are in AU Dollars and are inclusive of G.S.T. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
10. Equipment Pickup:
10.1 All platters and equipment will be picked up in the afternoon of the following business day, unless otherwise advised.
11. Loss of Goods
11.1 If our tableware (boards, bowls, pots, props for styling, cheese knives) or tables are misplaced or damaged during your event, fees will apply for replacement at the full cost of purchasing a replacement.
12. Unreturned Equipment:
12.1 Unreturned platters and equipment will incur a cost.
14.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of that jurisdiction and any appeals from those Courts.
15. Privacy & Personal Information
15.2 Your details will not be used for purposes unrelated to the services we provide. Peninsula Bay Platters takes this responsibility seriously and is very careful about how and when your personal information is kept and used.
